Xfinity Home Security Comcast Cameras

The camera all used to work on our Xfinity Home security system. We had the service disconnected for about 2 years,when we moved and tried to reactive the camera's, the Installation technician stated that these cameras, since being disconnected for the 2 years they did not receive the proper software update to keep them active, consequently they will no longer work on current  comcast , xfinity  home security.
These cameras can work on the older Xfinity Home or use them as a stand alone with just IP monitoring.
There are websites and forums posts that describe how to use these on a non Xfinity system.
Some of the camera wires have been cut to remove others don't have the power supply and we also have the complete units.
These are being sold as is for parts since they are not able to connect to new Xfinity home security systems.
