Do the cameras work 24/7?
Yes but not by default. All solar-powered security cameras record on motion detection. You can plug the cameras to power with 5V DC phone chargers, switch to "Continuous Recording Mode" to make them work 24/7. It affects the battery longevity though.
Does it require internet connection to function? Can I connect the NVR to my network via Wi-Fi?
No. The system works without internet. Yes, you can either hardwire the NVR to your network with included network cable, or connect via Wi-Fi.
Do the cameras' power last after the 1st charge?
Please fully charge the cameras and mount them with solar panels. The solar panels replenish the power everyday they consume. Yes this will last and you don't need to take cameras down to recharge.
Can this be charged any other way than solar?
Yes. Simply connect it to a USB charger(NOT INCLUDED) using the provided USB cable.
What’s the WiFi distance from cameras to NVR?
In open space, the camera can be placed from the NVR for up to 1000ft in line of sight. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of NVR.
