1.What is the maximum ethernet cable distance allowed when hooking this unit directly to the SmartSF security camera system nvr?
I've attached this to 100ft Ethernet cable which goes to a switch and another 50ft from switch to the SmartSF security system. Infact my setup includes 10 ft from SmartSF security system to cable modem, 50 ft from cable modem to a switch and another 100 ft from switch to this repeater.
2.how many cameras can you add to this extender?
Not sure what the max limit is, but I've attached three cameras.
3.Is the repeater-to-NVR connection wireless or does it require a network cable?
When u first get it u connect it to the nvr to program it with the internet cable then u could use it WiFi and use a separate password
4.Can this be used to connect camera monitor to router?
Yes u can just try not to have to many walls in between the two .
5.can you use 2 of these for same system?
Yes, i have 2 boosters amplifying a total of 4 cameras and it works great.
6.Does this come with power cord or do have to purchase separately?
It comes with a power cord.
7.Does this plug into the wall?
Power supply plugs into the wall. The cord from the power supply plugs into the repeater. The repeater it self does not plug into the wall.
