Up for sale is a NEW Open Box Lot of 3 ProVision CVC-185DC 1/3"" CCD B/W Camera with Smoked Dome.  I think these would be considered new old stock.  They are black and white Dome cameras, with smoked lenses.  They all look to be brand new, except the one does seem to have been at least out of the packaging and re-packed, because the one power cord in the box is missing it's original box and the packaging looks different inside.  So, I'd say the one may be used lightly and the other 2 look brand new.  Each box comes with a camera, power cord, instructions, and mounting screws.  I took a picture of the instructions, so you can zoom in and make sure it will work with your setup.  It doesn't have any extra cords, etc.  You may have to purchase that if you need them.  I'd suggest having some technical knowledge of security cameras if you are buying this listing.  It's not complicated, but what you see is what you get.  From looking online, these retail for $70 each and I see the only other one on Ebay for $60, so this should be a great deal.  Just make sure it will work for what you need.  Take a good look at the pictures and see what you think.  I'm pricing this low and paying for the shipping, which will be more with the increases.  I may ship with FedEx or UPS, depending on the buyer's location.  I ship within 24 hours of receiving payment.  If you have any questions besides offers, feel free to ask before buying. Product description CVC-185DC 1/3"" CCD B/W Camera with Smoked Dome The Pro Video CVC-185DC B/W Dome Camera is an unobtrusive, reliable and economical solution for most basic remote monitoring needs. Designed to provide a high-resolution picture from an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, smoke-colored dome housing, the Pro Video CVC-185DC works very well in low-light conditions, and can rotate 360 degrees and tilt plus-or-minus 90 degrees. Intended for indoor use only, this unit can be mounted on your wall or ceiling, and is a discreet addition to any video surveillance system. This dome camera utilizes a 0.33-inch black-and-white CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor with a 3.6-millimeter wide-angle lens, and provides 512-by-492 effective pixels. The CVC-185DC has a high resolution of 420 horizontal TVL (TV lines), is extremely sensitive to light with a minimum illumination of 0.02 Lux, and achieves a S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 48 dB or better. The Pro Video CVC-185DC uses the EIA (Electronics Industries Association) scanning system, and includes a standard BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) video output. This unit runs on 12-volts DC power, and can operate in temperatures ranging from 14 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. The CVC-185DC comes complete with a built-in automatic electronic shutter with speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second. Technical Features: S/N ratio: better than 48 dB Sensitivity: minimum illumination of 0.02 Lux Effective pixels: 512 by 492 pixels Horizontal resolution: 420 TVL Operating temperatures: 14 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit Dimensions: 4 x 2.5 inches (diameter x depth) The Pro Video CVC-185DC camera provides you with a high-quality B/W picture and deserves serious consideration as an addition to your home or business security system. Users should note that the CCD sensor may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light, so the camera should not be mounted or pointed directly at the sun or other bright-light sources. About Surveillance Camera Technical Features Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N , or signal to noise ratio , is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient. About Dome Cameras A dome camera is one of the most common indoor security camera styles. Mounted on the ceiling, and often designed to be tamper resistant, dome cameras are designed to be visually appealing and more secure than other types of security cameras. A true dome camera enables a continuous 360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt operation, providing for extensive room coverage. One disadvantage of dome cameras is that they usually are not suitable for low-light conditions and must be used in well-lit areas.
