This is the TakLite Pilot Pro 8X Infrared Monocular (also known as a night vision camera) The pictured tripod is NOT included. It's just used for demonstration purposes.

We got a pretty good deal on these and to the best of our knowledge they only made 100 or so units. It's also worth nothing that this uses a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (3800mAh) so this is a lot more convenient to use than those alkaline models. This product is designed as an entry-level general purpose night vision device for all walks of life. The ergonomics and functionality are comparable to a handheld camcorder which makes it very suitable for general outdoor recreational activities. It can be used for sight-seeing, surveillance, hiking, animal watching, hunting, fishing, and more. The monocular is also outfitted with accessory mounts which makes it easy to mount to a tripod.
The lens diameter measures 24mm and the viewfinder measures 1.5" inches. Full control is given to the user. Infrared illumination can be fully disabled if desired for daytime use. The camera also captures both color and monochromatic (black/white) at night. What Are The Specs?
