This is a HD 5 MP Motorized License Plate Recognition Security IP Camera. The lens range is from 5mm to 50mm,  specially designed for this application, which give you a crystal clear view, We are very proud of this lens. When the lens is at  the 50mm end, the appropriate distance is around 200 ft to recognize the license plate clearly. Dual  power input:    POE Switch (Output: 48V) or DC 12V ( UL list power supply is recommended),  POE power supply is recommended. Here is the installation Guild,  Camera is better to be installed around 4.5 ft-9 ft high. Camera    should focus on the license plate with 30-45 degree horizontal angle. The license plate picture should stay in the middle of the screen and keep in level, and the picture size should at least 1/10 length of full screen length. Sometimes, Adjust the shutter speed manually is necessary when the headlight of the vehicle are too bright, you have to choose the higher shutter speed to lower the brightness of the headlight in order to read the plate # The highest shutter speed is 1/8000 second. Please read carefully before purchasing. This IP camera couldn't work individually, to correctly apply this IP camera, You need have a NVR at least. A NVR(Net Video Recorder), integrated POE switch(Have POE ports in the back). The POE switch output  voltage must be standard DC 48V Or a individual standard DC 48V POE switch, combine a NVR Or a normal CAT5E cable with a DC 5A power supply, we don't recommend DC12V, 2A power supply since this camera has 84pcs IR. Plus a NVR This IP camera default IP address is 192.168.1.100,  The gateway address is 192.168.1.1, please contact us in advance.
